Extra-Curricular Activity

ECA fosters unity, diversity, homogeny, humanity, and appreciation of Indian cultures & is a critical component for well rounded & balanced education , benefits that include learning Time management & Prioritizing, involvement in diverse interests, Team work, Commitments & significantly raises Self-esteem , Confidence, relationship skills etc.

ECA is conducted every alternate day between 3.30PM to 5.00PM. We encourage every student to take up ECA activities & guide them through these activities.
ECA at Pragati includes,

• Sports Club – Football /Cricket / Volleyball / Shuttle Badminton / Athletics etc.
• Culture Club- Music / Dance / Drama
• GK Club – World around us / UN / Countries
• Debate club – Extempore / Public speaking / Moot Courts
• Math club – Accelerated math program through Abacus

• Reading club – reading literacy through state of art library

Career guidance & Coaching

“No man can succeed in a line of endeavour which he/she does not like”.
We facilitate & solicit Secondary students with reliable career advise basis their set of skills, interests & untapped potential that aids them with,

• Range of subjects they can select from (Science, Math, Arts, Commerce, Politics, International relations etc.)
• Colleges & Universities they can opt
• Profession they can enter
• Inform what job market looks like

However, we are cognizant not to expect absolute clarity & decisiveness as the student need time & exposure to identify what they really want to do with their lives.

The Team: Driven by the Sr. Librarian, assigned Grade Head along with respective Class teacher, the student & active participation of the parent.

Language

With the objective to inspire our student to think globally , open new avenues for their professional careers, deepen understanding and appreciation for the rich complex world we live in, the Academy provides language training in French & Spanish.

Student Council

Student Council plays a vital role in complementing the behaviour of students, they learn to cooperate in various positions thus teaching the qualities of leadership, patience, perseverance and discipline; requisites to be successful in life.

The Academy appoints Head Girl / Boy, House Captain’s basis Academic performance, behaviour and discipline.

Club Captains are appointed basis individual excellence in respective fields.

Guidance & Counselling

We recognize the significance of Guidance & Counselling in bringing the best in children. Through counselling children in need are given advise on how to manage & deal with stress, emotional conflict and personal problems.

Pupil progress over the essential objectives are measured frequently, monitored frequently, and the results of those assessments are used to improve the individual student behaviours and performance.

Parents too are encouraged to undergo counselling sessions driven by experts
