ISRO Registered Space Tutor
The only school in Kerala conferred as an official ISRO Space Tutor — shaping the next generation of scientists, engineers, and explorers.
On 4th April 2024, His Excellency Shri Arif Mohammed Khan, Hon'ble Governor of Kerala, presided over the launch of the ISRO Space Tutor Programme at Raj Bhavan — and Pragati Academy stood among the institutions bestowed this prestigious recognition.
The occasion was graced by Dr. G. Madhavan Nair, Former Chairman of ISRO, Shri S. Unnikrishnan Nair, Director of VSSC, Trivandrum, and other luminaries. Our Principal Ms. Suchitra Shyjinth and Head Girl Ms. Ishitha Shyjinth represented Pragati at this landmark moment.
OfficialHands-on experience at ISRO's Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network in Bangalore — students interfaced directly with live space mission infrastructure.
Modelling, designing & rocketry — from paper rockets to functional models, students experienced the complete engineering design cycle.
Insights from leading ISRO scientists and space experts — giving students a direct line to India's brightest space minds.
Our ongoing initiative to create an interactive STEM learning space — a gateway to the cosmos right inside our school.
Detailed space mission timelines, scientific data visualisations, and infographics that make the cosmos comprehensible.
Scale models of spacecraft, satellites, and celestial bodies — letting students touch and explore the engineering that reaches the stars.
Immersive virtual reality space experiences — walk on the Moon, orbit Earth, or witness a rocket launch from the launch pad.
Interactive displays of historic and current space missions — from Chandrayaan to Mangalyaan — inspiring pride and curiosity.
As an ISRO Space Tutor, Pragati Academy is officially part of India's national space outreach programme — working directly under the guidance and support of ISRO to inspire the next generation of space explorers from Kerala.
